The Mighty Avengers first featured an officially sanctioned Avengers team of registered superheroes, residing in New York as part of the Fifty State Initiative, as opposed to the unlicensed team featured in The New Avengers. This first incarnation of the team is led by Iron Man and Ms. Marvel, with the later lineup featuring Hank Pym as the leader during Dark Reign.
Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld is the name of three comic book series published by DC Comics in the 1980s. They followed the adventures of a young girl named Amy Winston who discovers on her 13th birthday that she is in fact a princess and heir to the throne of a magical realm called Gemworld. Amy also learns that the parents that she has known are not her real parents; her real parents are dead, and a dark figure from Gemworld is out to destroy her
